Prestige Preschool Academy has been in the community for many years. We have a great reputation and that is the result of the amazing care our dedicated and compassionate teachers provide every day.
All of our teachers receive ongoing training in early education because we ensure our children are learning with the most up-to-date methods.
We have separate classrooms and playgrounds for each age group, and an awesome room called Prestige Plaza that enhances children’s creativity and role-playing.
And because we know security is so important, we are proud to have a biometrics security system that allows access to our school. Safety is paramount to us at Prestige.

Programs for children ages 6 weeks – 12 years
I have worked with Prestige Preschools for more than three years. In 2010, Prestige took ownership of A Child’s Garden. I was part of that team for six years as an infant and toddler teacher, and an after school tutor. I am very proud of the time that I spent in the classroom prior to my promotion as a Director. My after school program was featured in a college textbook as a model program for both environment and child/teacher relationships. Earlier in my career, I operated my own licensed daycare at my home.
I enjoy reading and painting, and the many game nights with my wonderful family.
“Working with the teachers and families to create a wonderful place for our children is a very rewarding experience. We are all invested in the children and are all working towards the same goal. It is a very powerful feeling.”
Hello! My name is Lisa Callejas, and I am the Assistant Director at Prestige Preschool Academy.. I have over seven years of experience working in the field of Early Childhood Education. I began working as a teacher in an afterschool program where I remained for nearly six years. During my time there, I acquired experience working with school-age children ages 5-12, as well as working in the preschool program. I was able to gain much experience about managing the program in collaboration with the director at the time. In August 2013, I was joined Prestige as an Education Specialist where I spent three months teaching children phonics and math, as well as being the “third manager.”
Throughout my seven years of being in this field, I have taken well over 53 units in early childhood development at Mission College, with two semesters of practicum working with infants and toddlers. I graduated in May 2013 with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. In September 2013, I began my Bachelor’s program in Human Development with a specialization in Early Childhood Education through Pacific Oaks College, and expected to graduate in Spring of 2015. I also currently hold a Master’s Teacher permit through the State of California, and will be upgrading to a Site Supervisor permit. I am also a member of the National Association of Education of Young Children, in which I have attended the California Association of Education conferences two years in a row.
As you can see, I am incredibly passionate about working with children and families, as well as professional development. I am thrilled to be able to share my knowledge with the staff and families, and collaborate with them as we strive to maintain a high quality program for children.
“Every child deserves a champion—an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.”
